Request a Program

Bring Mental-Health Education and Support Closer to Your Community

Tell BAF about your audience, location and program needs so the team can understand whether an appropriate program or partnership may be possible.

Submitting a request does not guarantee program availability, dates, funding or delivery.

Who can request

Organizations BAF is prepared to consider

Requests come from groups already trusted by the people they serve. If your organization is not listed, you can still get in touch and describe the need.

Schools & educational institutions

Secondary schools, colleges and universities seeking mental-health literacy sessions for students or staff.

Faith communities

Congregations and faith-based groups looking to talk about mental health with care and without shame.

Youth organizations

Youth clubs, mentoring schemes and student-led groups working with young people.

Community organizations

Local associations, cooperatives and neighbourhood networks serving underserved communities.

Healthcare & social-service organizations

Clinics, community health teams and social-service providers exploring navigation or education support.

Local leaders & community networks

Community leaders convening groups who would benefit from mental-health education or referral guidance.

Program areas

Tell BAF which area fits your community

Not every focus area has an active deliverable program in every region. Choosing an area helps the team understand the need — it is not a confirmation of availability.

  • Community Mental Health Outreach
  • Psychiatric Care Access or Care Navigation
  • Mental Health Science, Technology & Innovation
  • Youth Mental Wellness & Anti-Stigma Advocacy
  • General Program Inquiry
  • Unsure — Help Me Identify the Right Option

What BAF needs to know

Four things that make a request easy to review

Who the program is for

The audience, approximate age range and how many people you expect to take part.

Where it would happen

Country, city or region, the venue or delivery setting, and whether in person, virtual or hybrid suits you.

What the community needs

A short description of the concern or gap you are seeing, in your own words.

Practical considerations

Accessibility needs, safeguarding considerations, timing, and any organizations already involved.

Request process

How a request is reviewed

Requests are reviewed based on mission alignment, audience needs, available staff, safeguarding, funding, location and operational readiness. Submission does not guarantee delivery.

  1. 01

    Submit

You share your organization, audience, location and the need you are seeing.

  2. 02

    Initial review

BAF reviews the request against mission alignment, safeguarding and current capacity.

  3. 03

    Clarify the need

The team may contact you to understand the audience, setting and expectations more fully.

  4. 04

    Confirm feasibility

Staffing, funding, location, timing and operational readiness are assessed honestly.

  5. 05

    Plan the next step

Where appropriate, BAF proposes a program, a referral, or a partnership conversation.

Availability

BAF is a growing organization. Programs are delivered where staff, funding, partners and safeguarding arrangements make responsible delivery possible. A request may lead to a program, a referral, a partnership conversation, or an honest explanation of why BAF cannot help at this time.

Safeguarding

Work with young people and people in distress follows BAF's safeguarding commitments. This page is not a route to clinical care. If someone needs support now, visit Get Help.
