Your information, handled with care.

This page explains, in plain language, how BAF handles information from website visitors and program participants.

About this policy

This page is maintained by the Bayo Arowolaju Foundation (BAF) to explain, in plain language, how we handle information from visitors to this website and people who interact with our programs. It is not a legal contract and does not create rights beyond those in applicable law. Our full, final privacy policy is being prepared with counsel and will replace this notice.

Information we collect

We only collect information you provide directly — for example, when you fill out our contact form, request support through Get Help, apply to volunteer, or subscribe to updates. Typical information includes your name, email, phone number, and the details you choose to share about your situation or interest in BAF.

How we use information

We use your information to respond to you, coordinate care or volunteer opportunities, send updates you asked for, and improve our programs. We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising.

Sensitive health information

BAF is not a healthcare provider. Information you share through our website is not protected health information under HIPAA. If you are already a patient of a partner clinic, that clinic's privacy notice governs your clinical record. Please avoid sending detailed clinical information through website forms — a phone call is safer.

Sharing with others

We share information only with the small set of vendors and partners who help us operate — for example, email delivery, form processing, and hosting providers. When we refer someone to a clinical partner through Get Help, we share only what is needed to make the connection, and only with your consent.

Retention

We keep your information only as long as needed to serve the purpose you shared it for, or as required by law. Support requests are retained so we can follow up responsibly; you can ask us to delete your record at any time.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. You can unsubscribe from any email we send. To make a request, contact us using the details on our Contact page.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses only the minimum cookies needed for the site to function and, where enabled, privacy-respecting analytics to understand traffic patterns. We do not run advertising trackers.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page as our practices evolve or as our full policy is finalized. Material changes will be noted at the top of the page.
