Responsibilities
The Executive Director is accountable for how BAF sets its priorities, designs its programmes and protects the people it works with.
Setting BAF's priorities across Nigeria, the United States and the African diaspora, and keeping the foundation focused on the communities least served by existing mental-health systems.
Building relationships with clinicians, educators, faith and community leaders, and local organisations so that BAF's work is designed with communities rather than delivered to them.
Ensuring every programme respects clinical boundaries, protects young people, and routes urgent concerns to qualified emergency and crisis services.
Accountability for how BAF is governed, resourced and evaluated — including transparency with funders, partners and the people BAF serves.
